John Thompson, MA, CDP, LMHC is currently an Administrator/Clinical Supervisor at Pinnacle Peak Institute an outpatient treatment program in Washington State. He is a MET/CBT CSAT national consultant/trainer and a national GAIN trainer. John was an instructor in the Chemical Dependency Professional Institute through Tacoma Community College for six years. John obtained a Masters of Arts Degree in Psychology/Mental Health Counseling from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology/Mental Health Counseling from Western Washington University. He is a certified chemical dependency counselor and a licensed mental health counselor in the State of Washington. He began working in the field of Chemical Dependency treatment in 1989. John has worked as a therapist in a diverse breadth of settings including school based programs, juvenile institutions, street outreach, inpatient & outpatient AOD treatment facilities. |
