Accreditation

The New England ATTC Distance Learning Program trainings are approved by the following accreditation bodies for:

Addiction Treatment Specialists/Counselors (non-social work)

National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) – Provider # 000151. NAADAC has approved all New England ATTC DLP courses for continuing education credits.

National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC)New England ATTC DLP is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP ™) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events (or programs) that meet NBCC requirements. Sessions (or programs) for which NBCC-approved clock hours will be awarded are identified in the program bulletin (or in the catalogue or Web site). The ACEP soley is responsible for all aspectos of the program.(provider #6463)

Connecticut Certification Board (CCB) – New England ATTC DLP courses are approved for substance abuse counselors by the Connecticut Certification Board, an IC&RC affiliate.

New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) does accept distance education CEUs provided by institutions of higher learning for individuals pursuing or renewing a CASAC, CPP or CPS.

In addition to the accreditation bodies listed above, many local, state, and foreign certification boards accept distance education credits for certification and re-certification.

Please check with your local certification board to verify acceptance and reciprocity of New England ATTC DLP continuing education credits. Social Workers

National Association of Social Workers (NASW).  Select DLP trainings are approved by the National Association of Social Workers (provider # 886514487)
